The Technology Education Association of Pennsylvania is
preparing to host the 56th annual TEAP conference at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel
& Conference center in Camp Hill, PA. on November 6-8, 2008. This event
attracts technology educators from all over Pennsylvania and surrounding
states and even from across the country to help improve the field of
Technology Education.
A wide variety of special interest sessions are being
offered to inform as well as challenge everyone to look at the profession in
a variety of different ways. Check out this years online Conference
Program as the information is made available on this website!
As usual, this year's conference will feature Technology Showcase with hands-on activities as well as materials from teachers around the state who have been generous enough to provide information on their outstanding activities. Finally, TEAP will be arranging tours of local industries as usual!
Our state has a rich history in the development of Technology
Education as a professional field, and an important part of the education of
today’s students. Students study technology education through hands-on
learning activities, and are challenged to solve problems through research,
analysis, and the application of mathematics and science concepts.
