Dear Technology Educators & TEAP Members,
Welcome to the June edition of TEAP-Online Newsletter! First and foremost I would like to apologize for the lack of a "May Edition" of this newsletter. This newsletter includes a little something extra (the first item to be specific) to make up for lost time! Without further ado, here is this months newsletter! Attention ITEA Members! Do you have a friend or colleague who might be interested in becoming an ITEA member? Now is the time! Paxton/Patterson is partnering with ITEA to offer the best membership opportunity in ITEA’s history! First-time members can become ITEA Professional Members for the unprecedented low price of only $25! This is a $45 savings for the first year of ITEA membership! Paxton/Patterson believes in the future of ITEA and is so committed to the field of technology education that it will subsidize new Professional memberships for the first year.ITEA values it's current members and will continue to provide the highest level of professional benefits and services, but at the same time they are looking for new members to expand and grow the association and provide an even stronger voice for technology education. Let your friends and colleagues know about this great offer today! Tell them that they can now join online (click on the Paxton/Patterson link on ITEA’s homepage at (www.iteawww.org) or contact iteambrs@iris.org for additional information. FREE CircuitMaker Student Version available for download This is a little tidbit of information which was originally posted on the ITEAGarden Listserv.... Sounds like a great opportunity! "CircuitMaker 2000 is your Virtual Electronics Lab, allowing you to design, simulate and output your printed circuit board designs." "Exceptional
ease of use and tight integration means you'll spend
less time learning the software and more time
designing. What's more, CircuitMaker 2000 gives you
all the features of professional, high-end software
at a fraction of the cost." Are You Willing to test your own "Fear Factor" at the 2004 TEAP Conference?!
Without a doubt
there are a whole lot of you out there in
Pennsylvania who do some outstanding things in
your classroom that your colleagues throughout the
state would benefit from seeing. Why
not then showing off your talents and
expertise by presenting at this years conference.
I know it doesn't involve eating disgusting
things, or being immersed in who knows what,
and you won't win a million dollars....but
you can share what you do and how you do it with
colleagues from our great state as well as states
throughout the country.
The application has
been available on the 2004 Conference page.
There is still time to get in on the action, with
time slots still available but going fast!
Please, consider presenting at this years conference. You may also want to consider presenting at the 2004 Tech Fest, watch the website and future newsletters for information concerning how to get involved in this great forum for Technology Educators!
